LRBKA Finding us

UK Charity number: 510687

The following information should allow you to find us throughout the year, or why not drop us an email or give us a ring, you will be made most welcome.

At the Brooksby Teaching Apiary (Spring/Summer)

In the Spring & Summer we meet every Tuesday at Brooksby Apiary which is located north east of the city of Leicester close to the Brooksby/Melton agricultural college. Brooksby college is about half a mile past the village of Rearsby on the A607 traveling North East towards Melton Mowbray. The apiary is not directly situated on the Rearsby Bypass.

At the Walton Teaching Apiary (Spring/Summer)

This apiary is recently implemented and serves beekeepers in the south of the county of Leicestershire. Meeting times and dates have not yet been finalised as some construction work still remains to be done, if you have spare time and skill to help finish the project please contact Phil or Derek.

For Our Winter Meetings

We also meet each month through the winter running from October through to April.  Our venue for winter meetings is at Knighton Parish Centre, Church Lane, Leicester, LE2 3WG. Church Lane is at the end of Brinsmead Road which in turn is off Welford Road, south of the city centre of Leicester. More details can be found on our What's On page.
